JUDY C. LIAO, O.D.

Dr. Judy Liao attended University of California at Los Angeles for her undergraduate education and obtained her Doctorate Degree in Optometry from the University of California at Berkeley in May 2001. Thereafter, she decided to pursue one more year of intensive training in ocular disease at the Veteran Affairs Hospital at Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center. During that time, she encountered and researched on many cases that have allowed her to earn the honor of Fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Liao takes great interest in preservation of vision especially in diabetic patients. She thus lectures extensively and does visual screenings at adult day health centers and nursing homes to raise the level of awareness on diabetic retinopathy. In addition, Dr. Liao is a great supporter of LASIK technology. Having worked closely with numerous renowned LASIK surgeons for many years and having been a LASIK patient herself, she now co-manages LASIK and offers it as an option to most of her patients.

To better communicate with her patients, Dr. Liao is fluent in Mandarin, Catonese, and Spanish aside from English. When she is not at work, she enjoys bicycling, hiking, reading, and traveling with her husband and her two children.

LETICIA G.

Leticia is the manager and dispensing optician at L.A. Vision Optometry. Due to her innate ability to be attentive and having had years of extensive optician experience, she will address all of your optical needs with your visual comfort and style in mind. Each option of your eyewear will be explained and recommendations will be made. She is here to assist you in finding that perfect pair of glasses to fit the individual you.

ARLENE H.

Arlene is the patient service and insurance coordinator at L.A. Vision Optometry. From her years of experience as an optician working with different insurance companies, she will help you get the most coverage out of your vision insurance. From your first call to our office, Arlene will work with you to make the visit to our office the most economical and pleasurable by you walking out with the highest quality of eyewear and paying the least out of pocket. Daisy is the optometric assistant who will welcome you the moment you step in the door with her brilliant smile. From your welcome form to pre-testing to checking out, Daisy will be there with you to answer any questions you may have. We understand that your time is precious and thus Daisy will help make your visit to our office as efficient as possible.
